Snake is a fun, difficult and addicting skill game for kids where you have to appease the hunger of a bonus-gobbling snake by guiding him around a dangerous, swampy terrain! Your unusual, red-dotted snake has to collect sufficient orange & blue bonus discs to eradicate his hunger in each tricky action level. Snake-handler beware; controlling the slippery little guy can be tricky – he gets even longer after munching on each bonus! Fast reactions and a steady hand are vitally important as you have to avoid hitting off the sides, bushes, and water in each increasingly difficult challenge. You might also have to contend with earthquakes, cloud cover, unnatural bursts of speed, and more! Get ready to dodge, weave and slither all the way to the top of the leaderboard. A classic game of snake Crtistmas style. Absolutely horrible. The graphics were the only thing you did and they were bad. The game features no options because all you did was take an actionscript.org tutorial or something and copy and paste their actionscript they practically spoonfeed you. It needs more options and more things all the other snake ripoffs don't have. A text adventure where you try to escape a room! Thoughtmaker responds:. Thanks for the site! Seems like a pretty good place to pick up some things for future games. Actionscript is all i can program right now (not terribly well, i might add) but if java is so easy, maybe i'll use that as an excuse to begin to learn it hehe:) making this game was more time consuming than i wanted it to be.

How to Play: In each increasingly challenging level, you have to carefully guide your Snake around the circuit, collecting enough Bonus Discs to get rid of his 'Hunger' (indicated in the bottom right corner of the game screen). Your Snake moves quickly forward automatically, and you can steer it using the Left and Right Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard. Collect the Bonus Discs by simply crawling over them. The Compass in the top left corner of the game screen points to the location of the next Bonus Disc. Each time you gobble up a Disc, your Snake’s hunger decreases by 1, and an extra red dot is added to his length. Once the Hunger Level decreases all the way to zero, you progress to the next level.

If your Snake touches off the sides of the game screen, the bushes, or the water, you lose a life. You begin the game with 5 lives, and each time you lose one, your Snake returns to his original, smaller length. Once all of your lives have been lost, it’s game over and you have to start again from Level 1. Every 4th Bonus Disc is a Special Bonus. This isn’t necessarily a good thing, as it could trigger an earthquake; bring clouds that block your view; increase wind speed, and more. Some Special Bonuses are good, like points increases - or Bonuses that slow your Snake down, making it easier to maneuver.
