Success is a very subjective term, and it doesn’t mean exactly the same thing to two different people. Not knowing how you define success in your life can make the process of becoming successful. What does it mean to be a great leader? While some can agree on a few generalized ideals, such as setting aside your ego to empower others to find success, there is no one right definition. Too often, experts are quick to share their thoughts and opinions on how to be a great leader.
1) The college success for me means attaining excellence and all around development. I do not view college success as merely getting good grades or being good at academics. College success entails three most important things for me :
Excellence : What ever I do, I should have a knack over it and I should do it in the most effective manner.
Academics : I should be able to apply all my learnt concepts and topics to my future job position or career I will pursue in future.
Interests: My college experiences should develop and support my interests and help me to better at them.

“The ability to attain a goal in the desirable manner which gives maximum satisfaction and creates a sense of accomplishment”
This definition reflects on the meaning of success to me which is not only restricted to achieving if a particular objective, but achieving it in the manner wanted so that it creates satisfaction as there is no success without satisfaction.

I believe that success requires the ability to identify the presence of an opportunity and the ability to exploit it before anybody else does. Therefore I will keep a keen eye over the available opportunities and their potential to result into success.
Perseverance :
The most essential strategy that I will practice constantly will be the quality of perseverance. Perseverance can also be defined as patience, persistence, dedication or sticking to the goal. This strategy will be used to develop “not giving up attitude ” So as to deal with all the issues, problems, hurdles etc that might arise in the way to success without getting overwhelmed by the small failures in the process goal of the main goal.
Monitoring progress :
It is important to ensure that the efforts put are paying off or the hardwork done is yielding benefits for which I will encourage regular monitoring of progress so as to address all the problems that might arise in the way so as to prevent them from acting as deviations.
2) To ensure that all my work in this semester is submitted on time I will apply the same above mentioned strategies to my process of working on my assignments. Thus I will exploit opportunities through finding the best topics and methods to get the best grade, I will be perseverant towards my goal of accomplishing the assignments on time and I will monitor my progress to see whether my work is meeting my targets and whether it is coming up to my expectations.
Moreover the most important thing I will do to ensure that the work is up to the mark will be avoiding the Procrastination . I will avoid delaying my tasks and will stick to my daily agenda.

I will overcome the obstacles through giving the assignments extra time for solving a year issues or discrepancy that had raised or I can also seem assistance from my teacher on issues in which she can support. If I will feel like assignment is difficult to be submitted on due date, I will work overtime to ensure that no such situation takes place.
